Food system innovation catalyst

We partnered with Zinc Innovation Partners to support the UKRI Multidisciplinary Food System Commercialisation Catalyst, a programme designed to bring together social and bioscience researchers to develop innovations tackling the challenge of building healthy, sustainable, and resilient food systems.

Work included:

Identifying priority areas for innovation and future research.

Highlighting opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration between social and bioscience researchers.

Reviewing and mentoring candidates applying to the venture builder programme.

This engagement helped shape a pipeline of high-potential innovations, fostering collaboration, innovation, and practical solutions for the future of sustainable food systems.
